The touch screen is positioned at a comfortable height on the IV pole. Screen can be rotated to almost any viewing angle. Two IV poles standard.


Integrated SmartSuction®

Our SmartSuction technology has been demonstrated in clinical study to significantly reduce hemolysis.

Now...SmartSuction technology is integrated into the mechanics of the Cell Saver Elite system, increasing the opportunity to reinfuse patients with a greater number of viable red blood cells.

SmartSuction technology auto-regulates suction levels to optimize fluid removal. The vacuum level decreases when the device detects high air flow rates and increases when low air flow rates are detected, indicating submergence in fluid.

The Cell Saver Elite system allows the user to choose between SmartSuction option and manual suction (-50 to -250 mmHg).

Data storage and reporting application

Our proprietary BloodTrack® Manager CS application eliminates manual data entry, allowing faster, more accurate recording of patient data.

You can download information onto a Flash drive and import into the BloodTrack application. Then, trend the data to capture device use by type of procedure, processed blood volume, surgeon involved, and other important metrics.

The captured data acts as a management tool for the OR and may serve as a tool for cost justification reports to hospital administration.

Integrated bar code reader

The class 3R bar code reader scans and stores bar code information such as disposable lot numbers, patient and device operator IDs.

The reader recognizes Codabar, Code 128, and ISBT 128 formats.

FDA-approved partial bowl processing

The Cell Saver Elite system is FDA approved to wash a partially filled bowl, allowing for maximum reinfusion of the patient’s own red blood cells, and further minimizing dependency on allogeneic
blood transfusion.

Our device offers multiple bowl sizes for efficient use–70 mL, 125 mL, and 225 mL.

The Cell Saver Elite system can also be utilized for
platelet sequestration.
